HELP provides job training for students* in the rural areas of the 25-county territory served by Central Community College, helping them overcome barriers to their educational success.
Project HELP is a demonstration project funded by the Federal government. The primary goal of this project is to provide training and support to help people improve their skills and find better jobs. In order to learn what works, the Federal government is conducting a study equiring every person ligible for Project HELP to be selected through a lottery system. Those not selected through the lottery will not be able to participate in Project HELP, but will be able to enroll in any other services or programs for which they are eligible.

CCC has main campuses in Columbus, Grand Island and Hastings, and learning centers in Holdrege, Kearney and Lexington, serving more than 300,000 students in central Nebraska.
Our Partner Agencies
Project HELP is offered at Central Community College, and is supported by the Administration for Children and Families, and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. The program is also supported by partner agencies throughout the midwest, from educational organizations to health care facilities.
