Project Help

The program is offered at Central Community College, and is supported by the Administration for Children and Families, and U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. *TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families) recipients, and those with incomes at or below established Federal poverty guidelines.

Project HELP is a demonstration project funded by the Federal government. The primary goal of this project is to provide training and support to help people improve their skills and find better jobs.  In order to learn what works, the Federal government is conducting a study equiring every person ligible for Project HELP to be selected through a lottery system.  Those not selected through the lottery will not be able to participate in Project HELP, but will be able to enroll in any other services or programs for which they are eligible.
